The Magnetic Theatre is dedicated to the support and cultivation of local playwrights. Through classes and workshops, as part of our New Play Development Program, our goal is to provide writers with opportunities to hone their craft and to work on plays collaboratively, with directors, dramaturges, designers and actors, before having the pressure of a full production.
The Magnetic Staged Reading Series is curated by our Artistic Director Katie Jones. These performances take place throughout the year. Please follow us on Facebook and check back on this page for updates.
What Happens After Manhattan by Honor Moor
September 21 at 7:30pm
What Happens After Manhattan is a comedic ode to old friends. During a wedding weekend, for a friend who is marrying later in life, these women have a chance to do a personal inventory of their long-time friendships. Many women in midlife are looking forward to second or third chapters in their lives, and this play explores the kind of friendships that transcend even life’s biggest changes.
Tickets are $10.00, plus a $3.00 service fee. All proceeds benefit The Magnetic Theatre.
